April 5th, 2008 - Mutual Aid to Albany for multiple Structure/Grass Fires

Trucks on Scene: Engine 1, Tanker 5 and Brush 2

Time of Call: 1358 Hours

Called for multiple structures on fire as well as a grass fire. Upon arrival there were 2 barns that were on fire with strong winds blowing the fire right at the house. Multiple departments were on scene and fought the structure fires. 3 brush trucks includin our Brush 2 attacked the grass fire which had spread accross the street and into the Indian mounds heading for the trees. December 28th, 2007 - Mutual Aid to Rock Falls

Time of Call:

Called to Rock Fall for a structure fire. A three story commercial building was fully involved. Several fire departments were called to the scene for assistance. There were no injuries but the building was a loss.

December 8th, 2007 - Mutual Aid to Geneseo for a car fire

Time of Call: 1500 Hours

Called out for a car fire between Erie and Geneseo. Geneseo arrived on scene and called us off as it was only a radiator overheating. No loss of life or property.

December 8th, 2007 - Single Vehicle Car Accident

Time of Call: 0645 Hours

Called out for a car accident on Route 78. Car had gone off the road and hit a tree. One person was tranported by Ambulance to CGH.

December 4th, 2007 - Mutual Aid to Albany for structure fire

Time of Call: 0420 Hours

Called out to Albany for mutual aid for a structure fire. The structure had started back up overnight. Mutilple fire departments were dispatched for water due to the remote location of the structure fire. One firefighter was taken to the hospital and the structure was a total loss.

December 3rd, 2007 - Mutual Aid to Albany for structure fire

December 3rd, 2007 - Power Lines Down

Time of Call: 0400 Hours

Called out for Power lines down. On arrival found power lines in the front yard of the house. The lines were sparking and burnt the ground. Power Company was had been there and were called back. No immediate danger. No loss of life or loss of property.

December 2nd, 2007 - Power Line Sparking

Time of Call: 1900 Hours

Called out for power lines sparking and burning on the power pole. Found lines to still be up on the pole power company was called no innediate danger. No loss of life or loss of property.

December 1st, 2007 - Power Lines Down

Trucks on Scene: Engine 1 and Squad 1

Time of Call: 2145 Hours

Called out for Power lines down. On arrival found power lines in the front yard of the house. The lines had burnt all the covering off the line and burnt the ground before shorting out. Power Company was called. No immediate danger. No loss of life or loss of property.

December 1st, 2007 - Sparking Power Line

Time of Call: 1925 Hours

Called out for a Power line sparking. Along with Albany Fire Department the power line was located and called in to the Power Company. No loss of life or loss of property.

December 1st, 2007 - Power Lines & Tree Fire

Trucks on Scene: Engine 1 and Squad 1

Time of Call: 1825 Hours

Called out for a Power line & Tree on fire. On arrival found limbs of the tree resting on the power line. Lines were still hanging power company was called. No immediate danger. No loss of life or loss of property.

December 1st, 2007 - Vehicle Accidents on I-88

Trucks on Scene: Engine 1,Squad 1 and 1-G-15

Time of Call: 1220 Hours

Called out to I-88 Mile marker 14 ½ for a vehicle accident roll-over. On arrival found a car in the median and an SUV in the opposite ditch on its side. Driver and passengers of the car were sitting in a Sheriffs squad. Passenger of the SUV was in another Sheriffs squad with the driver still in the SUV. Driver was extricated from the SUV. All victims refused medical treatment. No loss of life, loss of property 2 vehicles.

November 29th, 2007 - Mutual Aid to Hillsdale

Trucks on Scene: Engine 1

Time of Call: 1800 Hours

Called out for Mutual Aid to Hillsdale. They were out on a car fire. We stood by at their station then returned home.

November 17th, 2007 - Tree Fire

Trucks on Scene: Engine 1 and Squad 1

Time of Call: 1527 Hours

Called out for a tree on fire. Found a tree in the back yard of a residence with the core of the tree on fire. Front line was pulled from Engine 1. Fire was extinguished. No injuries or loss of property.

November 14th, 2007 - Mutual Aid to Albany for field fires

Trucks on Scene: Brush 2, Tender 5, PC 3 and Brush 6

Time of call: 1116 Hours

Called by Albany Fire Department for 3 fields on fire. Arrived and assisted with filling of brush trucks and suppression of fire in the fields. No injuries or loss of property.

November 12th, 2007 - Mutual Aid to Geneseo for structure fire

Trucks on Scene: Engine 1, Tender 5 and Squad 1

Time of Call: 1945 Hours

Called out to Geneseo for mutual aid for a structure fire. Mutilple fire departments were dispatched for water to help with this multiple structure fire. No major injuries.

Departments on Scene: Erie Fire Department, Geneseo Fire Department, Prophetstown Fire Department, Hillsdale Fire Department, and local police departments were also assisting.

November 8th, 2007 - Brush Fire

Trucks On Scene: Brush 2, Squad, Tender 5, PC 3 & Brush 6

Time Of Call: 1945 Hours

Called to a brush fire in a wooded area. Fire was extinguished with Brush 2 and Brush 6 along with some brooming from firefighters. No injuries or loss of property.

Novermber 8th, 2007 - Mutual Aid to Carbon Cliff for structure fire

Trucks on Scene: Tender 5 and Squad 1

Time of Call: 1615 Hours

Called out to Carbon Cliff for mutual aid for a structure fire. Mutilple fire departments were dispatched to help with this multiple dwelling structure. Erie's squad was used to help fill air tanks while the Erie Firefighters assisted in knockdown and overhaul of the untis. Overall more than 200 firefighters were on scene and 11 units were damaged in the fire. No major injuries.

There were probably other departments there and/or in staging that we did not see.

November 06th, 2007 - Medical Assist
